Two distinct lines. Baby Blue gives small round powder-blue leaves on a fine stem. Silver Dollar gives the large coin leaf for structure and volume.
Limonium
Limonium perezii / latifolium
Airy sprays of small papery flowers on a branched stem. Cut and graded so each bunch carries the same spray weight rather than the same stem count alone.

How an order runs

You send a standing order or a spot list
Weekly programme or a one-off. We confirm what we can hold and at what grade, in writing, before anything is cut.

Cut to your order, not to stock
Stems are cut the morning after confirmation. Nothing sits in a cold room waiting for a buyer, which is where most of the vase life is lost.

Graded, bunched and pre-cooled
Length and weight checked against your spec, sleeved, then into the cold room at 2 to 4 C within the hour.

Out of Nairobi the same night
Sealed into pre-chilled boxes, airside at JKIA, on the night freighter to Amsterdam or Liege.

On your dock inside 48 hours
Cleared and trucked from the airport. Cold chain unbroken from the field to your door, with temperature logged the whole way.

Between Naivasha and the slopes of Mount Kenya the days are bright and the nights drop close to ten degrees. That swing slows the plant down, and a slower plant gives a tighter head, a thicker neck and a deeper colour.
It is the reason a Kenyan stem still looks fresh on day six in a Dutch shop, and the reason we will not buy the same variety from a farm at 900 metres just because it is cheaper.

Straight answers
Questions buyers ask first
What is the minimum order?
A half box for a trial and a full box for a standing programme. Mixed boxes are fine, so you can trial three lines in one shipment. Exact box counts per variety are on the catalogue page.
How long from order to delivery?
Order confirmed by Monday flies the same week. Nairobi to Amsterdam is a night flight, and most European destinations are on the dock within 48 hours of the box closing.
Do you ship direct or through the Dutch auction?
Direct. Your box is built for you and flown to you. Nothing goes through the clock, which is a day of handling and a margin you do not pay.
Which airports do you fly into?
Amsterdam Schiphol and Liege as standard, with onward trucking across Europe. Other airports on request if the volume supports it.
How is the cold chain protected?
Pre-cooled within an hour of cutting, sealed into pre-chilled boxes, held at 2 to 4 C airside and in the aircraft hold. Temperature is logged and the log travels with the shipment.
Can we get our own grading spec?
Yes. Stem length, bunch weight, stem count and cut stage are set per customer and written into the order. That spec is what the packhouse checks against, not a house standard.
